Vision fuels the engine of accomplishment

Looking ahead, our three-year goals are ambitious yet achievable. By 2027, we aim to significantly increase the number of ethnic men actively engaged in our programmes and services, reaching a total of 10,000 participants nationwide. We plan to establish regional chapters in at least five additional locations across New Zealand, expanding our reach and accessibility to ethnic men in underserved communities. Additionally, we aspire to secure partnerships with government agencies to enhance our capacity to provide comprehensive support services and resources to ethnic men.
Our initiatives are diverse and impactful, ranging from promoting no smoking and facilitating the integration of unemployed individuals into vocational trades to stopping sexual violence and raising awareness of men’s mental and physical well-being. Through these initiatives, we aim to make a positive difference in the lives of ethnic men and advocate for their rights, ultimately helping them find a safe place of belonging in Aotearoa.
Some of our key initiatives include:
- Promoting a no smoking campaign among ethnic men to encourage healthier lifestyles.
- Conducting sessions to teach men to be kind to females and other genders, fostering respect and inclusivity.
- Facilitating the integration of unemployed individuals with limited educational backgrounds into vocational trades.
- Aiming to stop sexual violence through awareness campaigns and educational sessions.
- Providing professional development support by reviewing CVs and preparing men for interviews.
- Organising free driving lessons for elderly men to help them acquire a learner’s licence, promoting independence and mobility.
- Raising awareness of men’s mental and physical well-being and advocating for health-related issues.
Through these initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of ethnic men, ensuring they find a safe and supportive place in Aotearoa.
